Autumn semester columbus state

Johnson, PhD, President July 27, Testing, mask requirements and other health and safety protocols Testing will continue to be an integral part of our safety protocols as students return to campus this fall.

Pre-arrival testing: All students living in university-managed housing on the Columbus campus and regional campuses as well as sorority and fraternity members on the Columbus campus will need to complete an at-home COVID test within seven days before they return to Ohio State. Additional details about this process will be shared directly from the Office of Student Life.

Move-in testing: All Columbus campus students who will be on campus for any reason and all residential students on the regional campuses will be required to test for COVID when they arrive. Until students receive a negative test result, they should wear a mask.

Weekly surveillance testing: Currently, unvaccinated students — including all students on the Columbus campus and regional campus students who live in university housing — will be required to test weekly as the academic year begins. Students who have been vaccinated against COVID and reported their status to the university will not have to test.

We will continue to monitor the impacts of variants of concern and may need to adjust the testing requirements for vaccinated students as new information is available.

Once House Bill goes into effect on October 13, we will test vaccinated and unvaccinated students with the same protocols. All fees must be paid in full by the fee payment deadline. For courses registered after the fee payment deadline, fees should be paid the day of registration. Partial Payment. The Extended Payment Plan allows students to pay part of the total tuition balance in small increments over a specific period of time past the fee payment deadline.

Only students in good financial standing with the College and enrolled for the current semester are eligible to participate. Extended Payment Plan. The tuition and fees balance can be paid in one payment or in increments, there is not a fixed payment schedule or required minimum payment.

Payment Deferral. This program is only open to students whose employers have tuition sponsorship agreements with Columbus State. These teachers have an overwhelming sense of obligation to their students. They have been doing everything possible during this pandemic to insure students can successfully complete their academic programs.

They will fight for these students. CSEA, the faculty union, strongly opposes the implementation of such sweeping changes without thorough examination by the faculty of the impact these changes have upon student success.
